Vicki Williams

Art has been a passion for me since I was a child and studied Art at High School.  Betty Quelhurst was my teacher at school.

My first oil painting teacher was Melville Haysom who was one of the best known artists of the time.  He taught me the basics that have stayed with me until now.  Over the years I have had many teachers.

My last oil painting teacher was Marcel Debenam from Brisbane Painting Classes who inspired me to keep painting.

When I moved to Samford, my friends  encouraged me to enter in the local shows.

Water colour painting was my first love and now I am passionate about water colours and oil painting.

I left Samford in 2014 and now have my own little art shed .

I bought a piece of dichroic jewellery at a market in Perth and loved it so much that I learnt how to make it.
